Another year has passed and once again all of Sison will come together for its fiesta on the 149th Founding Anniversary. It fills me with so much joy knowing that our small town has been alive for 149 years.
Throughout its 149 years, our Sison has had to overcome numerous obstacles, and it faced them head on. No matter what challenges arose, our town fought and that is why it still stands today. Like a flower after every storm, Sison blooms, ever beautiful, continuously growing.
The beauty and strength of Sison comes from the people who call it home. The reason the town still stands, the reason it keeps on growing is because of its people. Having served as your mayor for three years I was able to witness your strength and determination to your goals and that continues to push me to do my best for you.
I consider myself lucky and truly blessed to have been your mayor and to be a part of the wonder that is Sison. I miss being around all of you, all the memories we’ve made gives me strength to do my best as your representative.
As a congresswoman I am able to provide further aid towards the growth and development of our town. And although I have other towns and municipalities to think of, Sison will always have a special place in my heart. Sison will always be my home.
